Our Goals
At Straight Up Electrical Inc. our goal isn’t to be just another electrical shop, but to be the kind of shop that we always knew could exist. One where quality work performed by true craftsmen is what drives profit, not cutting corners and deceptive bidding. We witnessed the standards of the industry firsthand year after year and know we can do better.

We could not agree more with this statement. After endless experiences working with tradesmen disenfranchised by management that typically was indifferent at best, we know that our people will be the single asset that can truly set us apart from our competitors. Our goal is to set the standard for electrical work and ensure all our clients, whether homeowners or business owners, know that we have their best interests at heart.
With over a quarter century of combined experience seeing work driven by the wrong reasons, we decided it was time to step out on our own and show how a shop driven with the right motivations could shine to both its clients and employees. We look forward to you joining us on this journey.

Meet Our Owner
Matthew Geiger - CEO
Matthew is a driven and curious individual. He is always wanting to know why. This curiosity aided him while attending Perry Tech in Yakima, which paved the way to his career in the electrical field. His organizational and management abilities were recognized early and earned him employment in the Industrial sector, where he spent the first 8 years of his career. Knowing that he wanted to someday open his own electrical shop, Matthew understood a more broad background would be pivotal. Thus, he left the Industrial sector and started working in Commercial construction and eventually Service work. Utilizing his diversified skillset, provided Matthew the knowledge and background to realize his dream of becoming an electrical contractor. In addition to spending free time with his family, Matthew enjoys hobby tinkering on a variety of projects.
